Accounting Services - under the supervision of Bobby DuBois, associate executive director - is fiscally responsible for all Cooperative Program and designated gifts received from churches. A complete listing of gifts is sent twice annually to each church for verification. After the books are closed and balanced each month, funds are distributed to Alabama and Southern Baptist Convention agencies and causes including Cooperative Program and designated gifts. The office staff also assists offices of work at the State Board of Missions in budget and budget control. Assistance is also given to Alabama WMU by providing accounting services.
