ARMS AROUND

As a part of the partnership between Alabama Baptists and Appalachian Regional Ministries, Alabama has been asked to focus our efforts in Appalachia on two associations in upstate New York. These associations, Central and Thousand Islands, represent the center of New York state from the Pennsylvania line in the south to the Canadian border on the north.

The first step in developing this partnership is to lay a foundation of prayer. We are asking Alabama Baptist churches to become prayer partners with a church in New York. This prayer partnership can be as intentional and involved as the two churches want it to be.

We are asking Alabama churches interested in committing to this prayer partnership to contact the office of Global Missions to request a prayer partner church. You will be sent information on a church and a request for information that we can share with your new partner.

We believe that God will bless our prayers and our efforts as we work together to help strengthen churches and reach people for Christ in upstate New York.
