The Facility Services ministry exists to undergird the work of state missionaries and missions support personnel at the State Board of Missions through a number of ministries, some of which also relate directly to church and associations:

Baptist Student Centers -- The Alabama Baptist Convention owns and operates 11 Baptist Student Centers. The Centers provide meeting space for the work of campus ministry on college and university campuses. They are located at Auburn University, Auburn University in Montgomery. Jacksonville State University, University of West Alabama, University of Montevallo, University of Alabama, University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Alabama at Huntsville, University of North Alabama, University of South Alabama, and Troy University.
An on-going maintenance plan is in place to keep the buildings in satisfactory operating condition. Adequate insurance coverage protects the building, and coverage is reviewed annually. Beyond the 11 students centers, offices are maintained at Alabama A&M and Birmingham-Southern College.

Office Services -- The office supplies and photocopy services needed by the State Board of Missions offices of work are provided by Office Services. Free tracts are offered to churches as requested. Building Services -- The daily cleaning and long-term maintenance of the Baptist Building in Montgomery are top priority for the Building Services staff. The building houses our State Board of Missions staff, Alabama WMU staff, and the Alabama Baptist Retirement Centers staff. It stands in honor of the God who guides us, and its appearance is important as visitors enter it daily. Our Building Services staff works hard to assure the cleanliness and efficiency of the Baptist Building.
