Mission Service Corps (MSC)
Mission Service Corps (MSC) is a pathway for adults to serve as missionaries in an assigned ministry that supports the evangelism and church planting efforts of the North American Mission Board (NAMB ). MSC missionaries are self-funded through financial support from ministry partners, some are tentmakers - serving bivocationally and supporting themselves via markerplace employments - and some are supported through retirement income. The placement of MSC missionaries is coordinated through the Missionary Deployment Team of the North American Mission Board. MSC missionaries commit to a minimum of 20 hours a week in a missionary role.
MSC missionaries may serve in a full-time career missionary role.
College and seminary not required.
