Otis Corbitt

Otis Corbitt, state missionary, Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions (of the Alabama Baptist Convention), Montgomery, AlabamaState Missionary Otis Corbitt is an associate in the Office of Associational Missions & Church Planting for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. His ministry responsibilities include church planting and church building services. He gives statewide leadership in helping churches and associations in developing and implementing a strategy for the starting of new congregations. He also provides counsel to churches involved in surveying, planning, building or remodeling church facilities.

Otis has been a pastor, a foreign missionary, and a National Guard chaplain. He most recently served as director of missions (associational missionary) for the Salem-Troy Baptist Association. He is a NAMB-appointed North American Missionary and he continues to serve as a NAMB-endorsed Disaster Relief Chaplain with Salem-Troy's Disaster Relief team.

Otis and his wife Geri live in Troy with their son and daughter. They are members of Hephzibah Baptist Church. Previously, Otis and his family served overseas in England and West Africa with the International Mission Board.

Otis holds a bachelor of science degree from Columbus State University and a master of divinity from New Orleans Theological Seminary.
