Mission Statement
The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions ministers in partnership with churches, associations, state convention entities and the larger Southern Baptist family by fulfilling the Great Commission through reaching and growing faithful disciples of Christ, developing Christian leaders, and mobilizing Alabama Baptists for local and global missions.
Vision Statement
The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions sees all Alabama Baptists obeying the Great Commandment by fulfilling the Great Commission.
Evangelism & Discipleship
Teach Biblical truths for a lifestyle of faith
Equip believers to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to minister to the spiritual needs of others
Assist churches in assimilating believers
Minister to the changing relational needs of families and individuals
Leadership Development
Lead ministers and churches to experience and practice Kingdom growth
Enhance healthy relational skills
Affirm and strengthen leadership growth in full time and bivocational ministers

Missions Mobilization
Strengthen and celebrate the role of the Cooperative Program in Alabama Baptist Life
