Videos

Missionary Moments - Alabama Missions

Missionary Moments - North American Missions

Missionary Moments - International Missions

Each of these vignettes is two minutes or less in length and features the ministry of international and North American missionaries. Your participation in Cooperative Program (CP) empowers these efforts in your state, across the nation, and around the world. These vignettes are suitable for use in a variety of ways including: during Sunday morning or Sunday evening worship; as part of your announcements or prayer time; during the offering; as part of your Wednesday prayer service; as part of a missions study; as a sermon illustration; as part of a new members’ class; as part of a video loop that runs in the foyer or other areas of your church; during small group studies.

The Cooperative Program is
your missional mutual fund
  1. We have the Great Commission.
  2. We must invest in many ministries to accomplish the Great Commission.
  3. All churches need a way to invest.
  4. The Cooperative Program is a missions and ministries mutual fund, receiving and investing gifts.
  5. Each church invests one gift through the Cooperative Program which combined with gifts of other churches goes to support all Southern Baptist ministries including three mission boards.

Missions education increases stewardship

"...when looking at a total of 40,056 congregations across the country, the average per capita giving to CP was $23.65 in churches without WMU- or NAMB-supported missions education programs as compared to $43.28 per capita giving in churches that have these programs." -Baptist Press 10/30/2008
