Keith Loomis

Keith Loomis, state missionary, Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions (of the Alabama Baptist Convention), Montgomery, AlabamaState Missionary Keith Loomis is an associate in the Office of Collegiate & Student Ministries for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. He has been employed by the State Board since Jan. 1, 2002.

Prior to coming to this position, Keith served as associate, student volunteers for the North American Mission Board. His primary ministry focus there was with World Changers. Keith's ministry focus as a state missionary is in middle school and high school ministry, along with working with students as they make the transition to college. Keith also assists in the area of community college ministry.  He works with associations and local churches in the area of personal and professional development of student ministers and overall student ministry strategy.

Keith and his wife, Kathy, have three sons. They are members of the Heritage Baptist Church, Montgomery.

Education: bachelor of science in business administration, Auburn University Montgomery, 1983; master of arts in religious education, Southwestern Seminary, 1997.

Other Ministerial Experience: associate director, World Changers, Brotherhood Commission, Memphis, Tenn.; minister to students and recreation, Heritage Baptist Church, Montgomery; minister of youth, Terrace Acres Baptist Church, White Settlement, Texas; youth and music leader, Redland Baptist Church, Wetumpka.
