Young Adult Research

The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, along with four other Southeastern State Conventions, commissioned LifeWay to research churches (of a variety of denominations) that are effective in reaching and ministering to young adults. The purpose of the study is to enable churches in the South to better understand the young adult culture and strategically prepare to meet their specific needs and/or interests through effective Bible teaching groups and ministries. The files are of one of three types. First, there is an Executive Summary of the entire project to combine common data into a usable form. There is a PowerPoint file with the scope of the project and its’ key findings. Finally, there are numerous files that represent the individual churches in the study. Very few churches are reaching significant numbers of young adults which creates the need for the research to include numerous denominations.
