Subsaharan African Peoples

Place: Dakar, Senegal

Date: May 24-June 1, 2012

Plans: Travel as a team from Atlanta to Dakar, Senegal, where we will meet the Engagement Team leaders. Orientation will be held in Dakar with this team. Next, we will travel to the villages where the ‘Northern Sereer’ people the ‘Wolof’ team and the ‘Jahanka’ people live. Then returning to Dakar for a debriefing. The team will have experiences in these different areas of work in Sub-Saharan Africa that will enable them to choose a people group/village that may be a match for their church/association.

Costs: Approximately $2500.00, including round-trip airfare from Atlanta to Dakar, ground transportation, some meals, travel/medical insurance and translators.

European Peoples

Place: Prague, Czech Republic

Date: June 15-25, 2012

Plans: Travel as a team from Atlanta to Prague, where we will meet missionaries related to the work of Russian Diaspora Team. This team does not have a specific geographic area, but instead focuses on Russian Speaking people all over the world. There is one Church Planter for Russians in Prague who would like to have a partnership. We will learn about other related partnerships in other parts of the world.

American Peoples

Place: Montevideo, Uruguay

Date: August 11-20, 2012

Plans: Travel as a team from Atlanta to Montevideo where we will have orientation regarding the work and the culture of Uruguay, and visiting some sites in the city. Following this, the larger team will divide into at least 2 smaller teams to visit work in other areas where there are great needs for partnership with churches and personnel. There are needs in urban and rural areas near Montevideo which include various ministry opportunities.
